Terminology
Mandate 2024-2025
The Assembly asked the Terminology Working Group:
- To identify challenges, solutions and best practices in a changing work environment and make the results available in an appropriate way
- To identify topics for terminology projects according to requirements and opportunities and specific best practices for such terminology work
- To continue to liaise closely with the New Technologies Working Group on issues of common interest, in particular contingency plans, IT security and privacy issues
- To keep the Terminology WG’s content on the COTSOES website up to date
- To draw up and publish recommendations regarding gender-neutral language in TMs and term bases
- To report to the Assembly.
